Apple M0116 Keyboard

The M0116 is the Portuguese variant of the more well know M0118

This keyboard has the amazing orange alps, and it came to me in fairly good condition but no keyboard of mine is safe from a good cleaning.

The keyboard disassembly is straight forward, just remove the 3 screws from the back, and it all comes apart.

It was dirty but with some patience and a toothbrush everything becomes clean.

It has a controller made by NEC and a metal backplate securing the switches in place.

Be careful when removing the power button as it is in a stabilizer on stilts.
